Flashlight 1.0 - released July 13, 2008

  • First release for iPhone and iPod touch.

Flashlight 1.1 - released July 31, 2008

  • Custom color - set any color you want (defaults to Bondi Blue)
  • Settings remembered (including the color Flashlight should open with)
  • New strobe options: Trippy, Emergency, and S.O.S.
  • More detailed control of strobe behavior
  • Dimmer - slide down for "mood lighting"
  • No more info button, just tap the screen to change settings
  • Note: Flashlight will always open in standard mode (strobe off)

Flashlight 1.2 - released August 11, 2008

  • New "Deep Trippy" mode
  • Brightness dimmer now stops at 10% (dark, but not black)
  • Refined settings to be easier to use and understand
  • Adjusted strobe settings to avoid issues
  • Trippy mode now shows more color hues
  • Brightness dimmer will no longer get "stuck" at full brightness or black
  • Fixed a bug where strobe timers would continue while settings were open

Flashlight 1.3 - released October 21, 2008

  • On-screen instructions when holding down anywhere for a short time
  • To prevent unintentionally opening the Settings view, you now hold down for 2 seconds to open the Settings view
  • Added sliding animation for the Settings view
  • User requested: New Emergency Red/Black/Blue strobe mode (in addition to the Red/White/Blue mode)
  • Sliding left and right no longer causes the brightness to dim unintentionally
